Save Sibaya

Picture
Lake Sibaya, South Africa's largest freshwater lake, is threatened by development, excessive poaching, and reduction of water levels due to regional consumption. Despite its inclusion within a UNESCO World Heritage Site area, much of Sibaya remains unprotected. Winterdodger Expeditions and Boomerang Geospatial have joined forces to establish the Save Sibaya Project in an effort to raise awareness around this endangered gem. Depending on your strengths and points of personal interest, there is a variety of project work available that will support Save Sibaya.
